Kaipa - In the wake of evolution

Well, you love them or not, and i'm enjoying there new album alot. Specially the fusion, prog, pop, folk crosover style.
The length  and the names of the song certainly qualify  as typically prog for this album. The first thing that caught my attention was the sound of the drums; very deep kick(too much for my taste) but the snares are just sounding beautifully.
Great arranged  songs with great voices.
If wishes where horses, we\'re all been eating steak.

I'm with you on this.... I love this cd. Awesome stuff.
I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!! Great melodies and great performance throughout........  ;)
I'll admit the kick drum is a bit in your face but not in a bad way thankfully... It suits the material.

Anyway, I'll have to check it out. Been a long time since I listened to some Kaipa.

It's not that i dislike the sound of the kick, but i have to turn the bass knob on my stereo  several notches down to prevent my neighbors  complaining about china coming down from the cupboard.
