Hahahah, I have found it!

Since Jem mentioned that it was a riff, I started rummaging in the Hip-Hop Toolkit, which is more loop/construction kit oriented. And there it was! Play D5 (that would be D an octave above middle C) on preset 289 (03-Instruments Phrases->Combos->Combo - Synth 2) and you get this:

Nice work! :)

However, what is your D5 doing an octave above middle C? Your keyboard is broken.  :P

There are various talks about this on KvR, it's just the fact that I set C4 to be middle C in my host (Reaper).

It's the camera angle. I can barely spread a 10th :(

I have fairly large hands - on a full-size board I can do C - E' (I guess that's a 16th?) or C# - F'# (17th) without sounding the neighbouring keys....but it's not much of an advantage - I still can't play the thing properly. :(

Actually I was just being silly, what I meant was a D being an octave above a C.... nevermind.   (though it feels good to know that I accidentally had a point   )

Actually I didn't mean in chromatic intervals. After octave you have a 9th (nona) and 10th (decim). Your C-E' is a 10th, and C#-F#' is a large 10th.

Ah, that makes sense. I don't really know what I'm talking about in musical terminology...or much else for that matter. ;)
