Damn no UK, any more dates being added if not a trip to Paris will have to me made

gr8gonzo

Nick and Jem have a collab planned, so I imagine SB will be in the UK around that time.

Pedro

I must pay more attention, I missed that detail.

I think it was in the Frost* Report of 13 April  http://www.frost-music.co.uk/?p=390
"I got a lovely email from Nick d'Virgilio yesterday. He's having a brilliant time ensconced in the Cirque Du Soleil in Montreal. A mad and intense time in terms of the rehearsal involved, but it sounds like he's loving the whole experience. He says the new Spock's album is rocking and proper and sounds mighty. Suddenly, after what feels like quite a gap in terms of quality prog albums, 2010 could well be a bumper year for good 'uns again. It was great to chat with him after all this time and we've made a provisional date to do some writing together next year when Le Cirque gets to Blighty. I should like that extremely much large and lively loud and proud."
That the one you're thinking of, Gr8gonzo?
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Pedro

Thanks DS.
I remember Jem getting the email but I think the bit about the writing meet-up was stored on a rusty synapse.  ;)

Ah, so it was the Cirque tour, not SB. I sit corrected.

But, wait! There's MORE!

Quote from: "gr8gonzo"Is the future collaboration with Nick to be part of a Frost* project, or separate?

I dunno. Maybe. Hopefully.  :D

Cirque de Soliel is over here at the moment - currently at the NIA in Brum I beleive. Was offered some tickets but it's not really my bag, even with NDV playing.

Why no UK gigs?! The last tour was blindingly good, despite that ramshackle support act.

This list has leaked out a bit early Dave Meros said over on the SB forum that this list isn't final and is likely to change

Despite being a Spock's completist, I've never seen them live. So I hope there's a UK date too.

I reckon there will be some UK dates, they seem to be quite well supported over here

I shall be unhappy if they're holding the 17 September date for the UK date...........
