"I got a lovely email from Nick d'Virgilio yesterday. He's having a brilliant time ensconced in the Cirque Du Soleil in Montreal. A mad and intense time in terms of the rehearsal involved, but it sounds like he's loving the whole experience. He says the new Spock's album is rocking and proper and sounds mighty. Suddenly, after what feels like quite a gap in terms of quality prog albums, 2010 could well be a bumper year for good 'uns again. It was great to chat with him after all this time and we've made a provisional date to do some writing together next year when Le Cirque gets to Blighty. I should like that extremely much large and lively loud and proud."

Cirque de Soliel is over here at the moment - currently at the NIA in Brum I beleive. Was offered some tickets but it's not really my bag, even with NDV playing.

Despite being a Spock's completist, I've never seen them live. So I hope there's a UK date too.

I reckon there will be some UK dates, they seem to be quite well supported over here
