Starts off kind of cool, then just EXPLODES with Frost*y goodness. Ridiculous amount of stuff to smile about.

Oh my God(frey)!
This made me very excited. Jem's own radio show.. 1976.. new album... *brain overload*.

Essentially, it's dead chicken, radio show, Frost*ie love, Frost* 3 (Dolby model variation), USA 2012, 1976, Losers remix, band meeting tomorrow.

(I assume he meant 2012 for the US prog festivals, not 2011. With any luck, I'll be living close by at that time).

After having read that new blog post, I've come to the conclusion that Frost* is very much like the British weather: if you don't like it now, just wait a few minutes and it will have changed.

And I mean that in the best possible way, of course  :D  Never a dull day in the World of Godfrey ...

(Hello from Southern California, by the way, where I managed to get a nice sunburn on a completely overcast day spent in SeaWorld with the kiddies ...  :? )

All good stuff very exciting indeed but i was just wondering has dec left the band or is he merely on a sabbatical and if so will he be on the new c.d ?

The tag line was well chosen give it's the only possible response to all that... (well, not the only one obviously, but most other are probably best not committed to digital print :D)

Oooooh, that's some lovely news to wake up to. Jolly exciting!  :D

I think the situation is that Dec is on leave, as it were, for the rest of the year so that he can concentrate on his solo work (which sounds splendid from what I've heard), but he can return to the fold after that. That's how I understand it, but someone please correct that if it's off target.

Nice!

So would I be correct in thinking that the stuff being released online won't be on the album, and vice versa?

El_Mayonnaise

Mr. Godfrey my deepest thanks to you for getting your music out there. You really are a musical hero and genius in my eyes. I'm a drummer first but you have opened my eyes to the world of synth, song writing and British humour. I really look forward to seeing the band in December and hearing the new stuff.

Gushing ceased.

Rawk commence.

That's the impression that I got. But, like the Thomas Dolby album, the extra tracks are still part of the overall concept.

Nice indeed!  So little GREAT music being released these days.....it's nice to have something to look forward to!!  :)  Hopefully it comes with some of those great video blogs......that made EIMA a blast!

Some days you're the statue, some days you're the pigeon.  However, this is a pigeon / good day! Firstly, have been offered my temporary promoted post on a permanent basis  :D and now read all this Frost*ie goodness!  8-)

Laughed at TA's comments re- turn-around but F3 being released on IO is fine by me.  Individual downloads are great, more immediate and allow freedom from commercial constraints.... but I'm afraid I don't think it beats having an actual official CD release.  So best of both worlds - result!  ;)

PS - sorry about the chicken... (hope it wasn't the one in Bert's avatar)  :|
Come on, you\'re a lion!

YAY!!!!

New Frost* album!!!
More Gigs!!!

BTW, anyone know if 1976 is going to be on the album or as a separate download?

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Broadband! A whole 2.5MB of it!

gr8gonzo

All signs point to 1976 being released by itself by the end of this year.

Don't forget "Fanfare" and its accompanying Frost* Reports come out next week!
