Can't watch the clip here at work... but I assume that's Yes without John Anderson, right?
That's wrong on so many levels! That's like...... WHAM! without George Michael!

Pedro

Actually it's just Chris Squire and Alan White with 3 others - Benoit Wotsit (JA's stuntman) and two uninspiring resident musos. This did nothting for the good of the band as far as I could see. OOALH sounded very thin and feeble with no keys....

I happened to see some YouTubes of the "new" Yes line-up....great to hear tracks from Drama getting an airing but not sure I want to see this line-up for fear some of the magic just won't be there. No offence to the "new" guys, of course.
While Mr Howe's transition towards being a 1-pixel-wide stick continues I couldn't help but notice that Mr Squire didn't look as slender as I recall....  :?

A couple of clips here and here....but there are loads more.

I think you'll find one of those "uninspiring musos" is Oliver Wakeman, Rick's son.

Know what you mean though :-)

Crikey, where did all the lard come from?
He was trimmer than that when I saw him in Essex in 2004, although he was wearing an exceedingly dodgy pair of leggings    (note to the men on this forum - if you're ever thinking of wearing leggings, just DON'T... especially not as stage wear; it's really not a good look) and a lot leaner and meaner in his youth as well.

LOL
Well, you made me sit through the Huckabee clip again (did you watch it?) and Oliver is defo not there - there are no keyboards on the track at all - which makes the drum break a bit thin without the keyboard stabs).
The two "uninspiring musos" I refer to are the bald guy Joey, "rocking out" in the suit and the bearded one, Bob, who is only really seen from below for some reason. ;)
....and that 'anchor guy....who the hell is "Chris MacGuire"?

For the record, I do know who Oliver is. I really like his works with Clive Nolan as well as his solo stuff (Mother's Ruin was particularly good) and have chatted with him a couple of times at (whisper it) CRS gigs. Had he been on the show, I think the cringe factor would have been somewhat reduced.

For those living abroad who don't know or care who Mike Huckabee is
he was one of the early candidates for president. He's played bass in bands
sitting in on his conventions. Somehow him and Alan White met and hooked
up and sat in with a band together. Like a lot of failed republican politicians
he ended up with his own show on the Fox news network.

I chuckled when he said "McGuire" as well.  Being a bass player and having
jammed with Alan White that was a major DOY YOY on his part.  I hear he's
actually pretty good too. But yeah those two guys from his show were complete
dorks trying to play.

Errrr no. Shamefully, I made a huge assumption.

I have watched it now though and...

...I'm sorry for putting you through that again  :D
