Well, I recall that Jem said somewhere that it's "no longer a normal rig," but I'm still waiting for someone to spill the beans.

Jem? A pic maybe? :)

Well, for the Defence gig, it's a Nord Wave, the Fantom and a V-Synth XT. The XT's only there for the vocoder as the TC Helicon Voice Live Touch that I ordered has been recalled along with all the other ones as there's a manufacturing error. Once that's here, the XT can go back to hiding in my studio where it rightfully belongs, besides, the vocoder is really irritatingly latent. I've never noticed that before...

As for the Xmas Frost shows, it'll be the Fantom, possibly the Nord as it's just such a fun little synth, plus a couple of cool non keyboard endowed sound generators. If I tell you now though, it'll spoil one of the nice little moments we've got planned.  ;)

rogerg

yeah, the Nord is there for the jazz solo.

Better hope Blunders brings enough sticks.

About five dozen should do it, I reckon.

Yeah, we can throw some back.  ;)

Throw 'em back?
After the dents recently put in my wallet by restocking my stick bag ever-so-slightly, I'm keeping any that come my way!

I agree with Hippo. Once it's in the audience, it is lost.  :P

Jem has this incredible effect on me.... Just when I think I'm happy with my gear I see a video of him playing a Fantom G and my lust starts all over again!!!! I'm still playing all the presets on my Fantom x and I know it is capable of so much more... But the G seems that much more powerfull.. Especially in hands of a genius like Jem. Jealous?... Dead right I am!!!!  ;)

Back on the subject... Nice rig :D . Does what it needs to. Especially the, mentioned so many times on here already, jazz section
Can't wait to see it in action in December. Also looking forward to the DVD when it's done.... I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait.  :)

E.S.

Everybody should own a G.  8-)

True

For some reason I am strangely drawn to the idea of programming mine to imitate a Star Trek console
