So Jem really did bury Andy  :(

Gutted.... The most talented member of a super talented band....

Still... he's still recording with them I suppose  :|

Qjimbo

Nah, it wasn't Jem, the Drum Machine grew arms and legs and did it whilst everyone was distracted by Jem playing a keyboard solo.

Ok... I'd like to know what TBE has to say about it.

Pedro

Has he not been buried then?

Strange how things take on new meaning with hindsight, eh? ;)

So was TBE's departure planned around the same time as the hidden message, or is it just a coincidence?

I'd find it hard to pick a 'most talented' in the band to be honest... seen Jem's keyboard chops? Ever watched JJ running about the stage? Ever seen Dec sing live? Ever seen... well, JM?

 :D

Crikey.
Time to finish off that time-machine design I've been working on next year and use it to get in the 2 decades of practice I'd need to even think about being good enough to replace TBE.

And so my musical interests and influences will continue to expand: I shall continue to watch Andy's work with interest, and will doubtless go off on tangents with whatever he's involved with.

Thanks, Jem and the Frost*icles, for introducing me to a talented fella who's reawakened my drive to become more than a mediocre drummer.

Onwards....

Yes... yes.... yes.... I have (apart from Jem and Dec)... still stand by it. I can remember Martin Orford saying that his one regret of leaving IQ was that he didnt get to play more with Andy before moving on.... I love them all, but at what he does I find Andy most talented.

Pedro

Well, apple and orange comparisons aside, I get the feeling we haven't seen the full extent of his talents yet. Hope his new venture is something sufficiently worthy of winning him.  :)

Woww, i'm really saddened by this.

I don't think he's really replaceable. I really think he was an unsung hero in EIMA!

Though the chances of me ever seeing a Frost show in my lifetime are very very slim, so it shouldn't matter to me if he's still going to be on the records...

Interesting comments from Jem over on the It Bites forum:-

Especially liked the bit about "I've got 4 new Frost songs that I'm going to release free in the New Year with more to follow later in the year."  :D
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Pedro

"EIMA expanded CD"? Wossat? A double-dip?

Better get it ordered now! ;)

Nooooooooooooo. :(  That sucks. I mean, I would've loved to see Frost* sometimes and now Andy's not there anymore. No good. :(
