Mis-heard lyrics

Funny, I thought it was:
A cure has been found, for good old Rocket Leg... whatever that is  

Switch one vowel and Jeff Lynne predicted the whole Deep vein thrombosis thing.

And I thought it was a cure for Rocket Lag....as in Jet Lag.

I believe that Hendrix was aware of this one and even paused in the middle of some performances of Purple Haze to mime kissing another band member.
