Wow, looks like I missed quite a discussion there.

All I can say is that, as a fan of Jem Godfrey (rather than just Frost* per se) and a fan of electro-ish music, this is very exciting stuff! If there's any more where that Losers remix came from (or equally, things like 'Afraid of Summer', 'Music from the Typewriting Room', 'I Wish I Were You' from the old Toys section) then bring it right on.

Merry Christmas one and all...

Quote from: "Paul"Hi Brom. . . . .  one great gift I received was Transatlantic The Whirlwind Live dvd, very enjoyable.
How about yourself. . . . . .  camera gear? :D

No camera stuff this time but..

CDs by Transatlantic (x2) (Ok, OK I'm late to this particular party... but its GREAT fun catching up!) and CDs by Camel - Moonmadness reissue plus bonus tracks, Tangerine Dream, ELP, Shostakovich (Composer, not a band! LOL) and a Return To Forever DVD which is brilliant! AND... best of all a Squeezebox Duet so I can now lounge around and stream all my fave tracks straight to my hifi from the comfort of my sofa and also tune into some great internet based prog, including our own Gr8Gonzo. All in all quite a proggy Christmas!  :D

PS Anyone else noticed that it's nigh on impossible to browse away from this forum since those snowflakes arrived  :? (Using Chrome and having to close each time I wanna leave!) EDIT!! Blow me it let me go this time
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333

Quote from: "Mouse"I got that DVD as well. It wouldn't surprise me if many other people did, too. Actually, I might watch it again tonight...

I also finally got the Fourth Edition of Storm Thorgerson's excellent book Mind Over Matter. Hundreds of high quality Pink Floyd images and the stories behind them? Heaven.  :D

I however did not receive the DVD nor Storm Thorgerson's book but it surely appears that
I need both of them now as I was recently thinking I'd forgotten all about the DVD and
I've had big time OCD over the early Pink Floyd era music the past week.

BTW Nick Mason's "Inside Out" is an absolute must if you don't already have it.

Mouse

The hardback edition's been on my shopping list ever since it was first published, but I still haven't got it. The day is coming, so very soon...

Getting Going

So....First day back then.

Right, fire up Tools. Done.

Quick cuppa required.

Yum.

Right, bugger... I need an adaptor for my controller keyboard.

Ok, that's that ordered.

Why won't my laptop output any audio to ProTools?

Right, that's that sorted. Probably time for another cuppa.

And perhaps a biscuit...

Oh, I'd better answer that email.

It's cold in here. Why isn't the radiator working?

Ah, the thingy on the side needs turning up. That's better.

Ok, better get the calendar up. Get planning and stuff.

But I need a nail. And a hammer. Where are they then? In the garage?

Better go and find 'em.

Right, calendar up. All good. To work then! Finally.

Ok, why won't that work? Ah, needs a midi cable.

Where are the midi cables? In the garage again? Bollocks...

Blimey! Lunchtime!

Yum.

Anyway, back to work.

Better answer these emails first though....

And perhaps a quickly tweet something.

And something else.

Shit, I need to pay the butcher!! I'm 2 weeks late as it is. He shuts at 4, I'll have to go now.

Sorted. Quick cuppa to warm up, it's freezing out there.

I better check out that plug in that Marc recommended. It sounds pretty good. Where's the email with the link?

God, the internet's slow this afternoon. C'mon c'mon!....

Yup, I'll have that. To the online shop with me.

No, I don't want to set up a user account, I just want to buy the plug in.

Why do you need to know what magazines I read?? Shit off, just GIMME THE PLUG IN!!!

FFS! What's my password for the online fraud checker thing? Fuck fuck....er.....

NO, DON'T LOCK ME OUT!!! Sweet Jesus...

But if I don't click the "Back" button, how can I get the phone number??!! I've got to click the "Back" button!!!! Your website designer needs shooting, preferably through the toes.

I need tea.

Blimey! 6 already? Done for another day.

Where does the time go?...

Happy New Year everybodypeeps.

There will be Frost activity this year, fret not. I'm just refocussing my efforts elsewhere until my muse returns.  :D

There will be an Autumn tour (more details in due course) and there will be new music. Still not sure about when or what or who or how it will arrive, but I'm as much on this journey as you.

In the meantime, shall we have some cake? :D

And a Happy New Year to you too good sir! An autumn tour? That's easily the best news so far this year! Definitely worth some cake.  :D

Very good to hear from you sir; hope you had a decent Christmas and New Year. Glad to hear that your Frost*ish muse may pay you a visit in the not too distant future ...  :D

Oh, and thanks for the offer of cake, but having seen my doctor shake her head at the scales when I was standing on them last week, I'll stick to something healthier:

Phrog

Huzzah! With that and hopefully the DVD, this could be an even Frost*ier 'Frost* Free' year than last year! Still looking forward to the electronicy stuff too  :)
