I love it! Great picture, David! He's got some high brow culture now.

I absolutely never have heard anyone say "Chapelure!"
It's a brilliant interjection, by the way. I think I'll use it know  ;)
I'm curious to know which word you tried to translate?

Just 48 hours in France, and he looks already smarter

Anyway, he's officially on his way to his roman vacation.

I was aiming for "Crumbs!" (apparently the French for "crikey" is "crikey"), and the best Google Translate could offer was Chapelure as a translation of "breadcrumbs".

I once worked with an LD* who'd come out with old-fashioned English exclamations translated into pidgin French.
For instance:
  • Ciel à Betsy! (Heavens to Betsy)
  • Frapper une allumette! (Strike a light)
And my favourite, which I still use today:
  • Lapider les corbeaux! (Stone the crows)

Excellent! I'll update the map.

Dang, I kinda hoped the Banana would arrive here in Germany just in time for this festival: http://www.progressive-promotion-records.com/bands.html
Would've gotten the bands to sign the Banana with a message for Jem - but now it seems it'll arrive much earlier... So on to Plan B...
Keep prog alive - see it live!

Well, you never know, the speed this thing moves sometimes.... ;)
I guess Plan A Paragraph 2 could be that you take a suitable picture of the banana and get the bands to sign that?

After seeing David's picture I realised I forgot to remove the cord I used to tie the banana* to my kit before I shipped it... Oh well! It's a souvenir to take home to all the wee bananas... Great photo, David! Nice to see the frosty fruit getting some french sun rays. 8-)

I wonder if we can complete the trip in time for the AGM gig on December 16th?

The grande banana is here in me hands! Shall go around Rome tomorrow and have some pictures for its Roman Vacation ;)
You talk
You think you own me
You miss the point completely
These things I do they\'re not for you
I\'m sick and I\'m tired
Leave me alone...
