Recently, a friend recommend me a band called Unitopia. Their name didn't sound me at all.

Now, after a few listenings of their album More than a Dream I can say they are one of the best groups of progressive rock I know.

They have influences of Genesis, Marillion, The Flower Kings... a mixture of them, but with their own style. Sometimes jazzy, sometimes heavier.

Give them a try ;)

Had a listen to their album recently and at first it striked me as quite nice but somehow nothing really lingered afterwards except for that one section at the end of one of the epics which is a carbony copy of the "New Jerusalem"-end section of Suppers Ready. Really, I checked it yesterday evening at our radiostation and you can really sing the vocal melody and the lyrics over Unitopia's version.

And I don't understand why found it necessary to release a double album. Give me 55 minutes of pure prog pleasure that is EIMA.

"More Then a Dream" is a pretty good album indeed.
Wonderful detail is that all the orchestration on it is real. Pretty mind blowing these days.
