so, my niece will be 30 on August 11, and my sister is putting together a postcard shower for her.  if you are so inclined and wanted to join in you could send a postcard to:

Rev. Elissa Johnk
163 State Street, #1
Montpelier VT 05602

Elissa is a brilliant young woman, who we're excited to having living close to us now.

so, anyway, if you like, join in!

you may now return to your regular programming.

 :D

Well, let's have a look on the tin..."shower" "her" with "postcard"s.
So you buy a postcard, preferrably local to where you are I guess, and send it to the address given.
Simples!
PS I guess you write rude things about Roger on the back if the card? ;)

Thought there might be more to it than that. Attach bananas, $10 notes, etc.

This is cool!

I was planning to do something similar a while ago, and wished I had now. A relative of mine has the laziest (but very nice) husband. A LONG time ago he brought home a piece of second hand kitchen worktop which he said would replace their installed worktop that was on its last legs. The "new" bit of worktop was propped up in the kitchen.... and there it stayed, for at least 5 years!, if not longer. It never got to its intended resting place as we eventually "borrowed" it while I revamped our kitchen, and to the approval of my relative "lost" it in the process.

While it was in residence at my relatives my plan was to get loads of random folks to send the worktop a Christmas card, using the net etc. as Rog is doing... but I never got round to it.

Interestingly, but not that surprisingly, the original, to be replaced worktop in my relatives kitchen remains in use in its original position!! God knows how it still supports anything!!
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333
