It seems like a never ending spiral that appears to narrow as you get further up it. The most bizarre car park i have ever been in.

Seems I underestimated the popluarity of the TravelSplodges.

Me and Mrs P are in the Antoinette Hotel on Beaufort Road. No idea what to expect, except it seems to be reasonably near and it was cheap.

There's one like that in Glasgow. The trick is to find the constant radius and once found, keep the steering wheel in the same place. It's almost impossible to avoid curbing as the way the slope of the spiral and the the fact that you can't see the wheels from where you're sitting means that (I find anyway) there's no point of reference. You kind of have to point and hope, go slow and if you feel the wheel moving in your hand adjust accordingly, but not too violently as all that will happen is you'll curb the other side.

Nightmare.

Ahh, but there's the rub.
Is it actually a spiral, in that it narrows at one end, or is it in fact - as Bert attests - a helix with a constant radius?
We should each conduct a qualitative analysis of it post-AGM (if hangovers permit) and compare results.
