I guess I'm out of touch with prog when there are only two of them I even knew existed.

You mean Grace for Drowning and A Dramatic Turn of Events? likewise.
"The longer the note, the more dread."

I mean Testimony 2 and "A dramatic change of drummers".

No Opeth? Yes the metal fans didn't like it but the prog fans?

Loved it.

Perhaps we could put our own list together? Using the poll feature or something. I often take this forums opinion to heart (e.g. Haken, It Bites) so it could be beneficial to all. I've not listened to 80% of that list though so couldn't possibly comment.

Personally I would've gotten Pain of Salvation and Beardfish up there too (Very anti-swede list btw)  :D

I do hope it was you who slipped that grocer's apostrophe in there, and not DPRP. Or Cosmograf!!

Bloomin' 'eck, Tin Spirits was this year too? I must check thoroughly before I make any sort of list (and listen to a few I haven't heard yet).

Tin Spirits, Dec, Lazuli, Phideaux and Beardfish have all released excellent long playing records that I recommend to anyone. And Matt Stevens. And SW. And...
