Is it really sad that I'm now judging how many days there are left until Christmas by counting the blank squares?!?

It was deemed too harrowing for public viewing, especially at these Times of Good Cheer(tm)!

After enjoying the obsessive Gear Acquisition Syndrome video in today's envelope, I felt I also needed to know more about the Collyer brothers mentioned in the compulsive hoarding story below. In doing so, I believe I have stumbled onto something on Wikipedia which clearly explains Jem's behaviour in the original video:

QuoteThe Collyer brothers were sons of Herman Livingston Collyer (1857–1923), a Manhattan gynecologist who worked at Bellevue Hospital, and Susie Gage Frost (1856–1929), a former opera singer. Their parents were first cousins.

Ladies, gentlemen; a coincidence? I think not ...  ;)

Quote from: "Racing Hippo"I have to say, I'm a little disappointed that no-one has mentioned the link under "sprouts" that was on yesterday's G,.A.S entry.
Maybe it was too subtle.....
