Quote from: "E.S."Ooh, I'd love to remix that too. Are there stems somewhere out there?
Out there, There's a world outside of Yonkers, Way out there beyond this hick town, Barnaby, There's a slick town, Barnaby
Out there, Full of shine and full of sparkle, Close your eyes and see it glisten, Barnaby, Listen, Barnaby...
Put on your Sunday clothes,There's lots of world out there, Get out the brillantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the evening air, Girls in white in a perfumed night, Where the lights are bright as the stars!
Put on your Sunday clothes, we're gonna ride through town, In one of those new horsedrawn open cars.................

Todays quiz, was I ?

Cornelius or Barnaby

Bally Jerry pranged his kite right in the how's your father. Hairy blighter, dicky-birdied, feathered back on his Sammy, took a waspy, flipped over on his Betty Harper's and caught his can in the Bertie.

I've set myself a goal of 'before Christmas'.

Didn't say WHICH Christmas though  ;)

Reading that other forum? How dare you!!!!

Cornelius & Barnaby are in Hello Dolly
I used to have a signature

MTBDude

I may have a crack at Shut Up and Drive as well as Wake Up for drums.  But I don't have any proper recording equipment, so I'm going to see if I can get a decent sound from what I have.

E.S.

"The Bird that Never Flew" is great, I'd love to have a go on that, if you dare to let a mad professor go crazy with bizarre synths and FX.
That main keyboard theme is lovely!

RobRideout

Hey, really sorry to have taken so long to get back about this, but I now officially declare it...

IN MOTION!

And Espen, I'd love to have to you on board for TBTNF, depending on how ambitious you're feeling, you could sequence the drums and bass part too! I'll just try and get hold of someone to do the vocals...
If you know anyone who can do roars and stuff then by all means help yourself, if you give me your email I'll send out some Midi tracks, so you can mess around with it :)

I'm going to start collecting files now, and doing all my bits for the songs. Pretty excited!

RobRideout

Also, MTBDude, I'd love to have your drumming on Wake Up, if that's ok!

And don't worry, the sound doesn't have to be perfect for this record, I'm just trying to get people together and get a final product. I'm sure it'll be fine :)

Email me at mailto:rob.rideout@btopenworld.com">rob.rideout@btopenworld.com if you want to get it going!

Pedro

I must find some time to pay more attention to this. I'd love to do a bit if I can.

Just dropped you a line by e-mail.  I'm up for any guitar parts.

Just nonchalantly accept, Rob. Don't make a big thing of it.

And release it to the public after Hywel's become a legend :)

My son, Cameron would like to have a go at the track "the bird that never flew"
He's just passed his grade 4 and it would be a good exercise even if its not used.
This weekend I will record a few takes on the track from his Roland kit and see what he comes up with.
The stuff he showed me today was well good.
Tally Ho Chaps
Bandits 11 O\'Clock High
Throttle to boost, im going in!

RobRideout

@fogeyspasm

Yeah, that would be brilliant :)  I think I'm putting E.S in charge of the majority of that track, so I expect it will be mostly the 2 of them, and whomever I can find to do some death growl vocals...

In the meantime, I've decided instead of worrying about where to start, I'm just going to get going, and I'm doing Overtime first (track 01, what a refreshing idea!) so I'll record some parts to a click and then send them out. Shouldn't be long before I have a piece of ROCK!

Also, if Cameron is recording on a roland kit, we can use the MIDI, and that would be extremely useful. It sounds perfect!

OlliR

I'd love to contribute my bass playing skills to any song you need  :)
