Beyond The Bridge

I am always looking for good new prog music, so I feel compelled to spread the word when I find a new band that turns my head.
Not sure if anyone here has discovered this or not....the bands name is "Beyond The Bridge", and the album is called "The Spirit And The Old Man".   This is a new band out of Germany.  It is hard to put a label on their sound.....it's very modern and updated prog with heavy guitars, two great keyboard players, melody and 2 vocalists who can actually SING, and fantastic songwriting.  I wasn't all that taken with the sound clips on line but since I got the CD a couple of weeks ago I can't get enough!  This is a freaking EPIC record.  I am quite confident this will be in the running for album of the year in 2012.
These clips show the heavier side......but the album is actually fairly well balanced between mellower melodic and in your face.  Love it!

I like what I heard. It immediately made me think of Flaming Row, but I think I prefer BtB's vocals and musical style more. Hard to find good singers in prog. I'm a DT fan and this certainly has a hint of that in it, so I'll investigate this one a bit further, but I thought it sounded good.
