Wow, how good is that song?  Just got around to listening to it for the first time since getting my CD copy of BAF.  Nice to hear bits of the other songs in there.

Great album, best of the three for me!Suite Charlotte Pike is great, but the Stranger in your Soul section of the album with Mikes drum intro, shades it for me... ;) Hope there,s a new album down the road.....sometime!!

And if you're a Beatles fan - the Live in Europe version stretches to 30 minutes and gets the bonus of the Abbey Road medley stitched in beautifully!

I am indeed, and that's one of the things that I liked about SCP - it had a real Beatlesy feel to it.  I had first heard Transatlantic when I got the Marillion solo sampler CD, but I really listened closely to them over Xmas when I was doing some DIY in the house and loaded up loads of YouTube stuff.  I saw a lot of clips from the DVDs and even recognised someone from the Frost* gig in one.  I am going to get the one you mention next time I have some "music cash"  :)

I think Stranger In Your Soul is an incredible track, but it's almost so incredible that I can't listen to it right now, if you know what I mean?  It really does awaken the stranger in my own soul and that's a bit too much to deal with at the moment.

That was a great interview incidentally Pedro - thanks for the link.

Bridge Accross Forever is my favorite, particularly the live rendition on The Whirld Tour CD/DVD. Neal Morse is a musical genius  :)

Hmm, am certainly warming to The Whirlwind having listened closely to it over the last few days.

The outgoing guitar and keys on "Is It Really Happening" between about 4 and 6 minutes remind me of Lights Out/Obsession-era UFO.  I've always loved them, and although it's changing the subject a bit, look here

for some nice in-a-gig action from MS himself (who looks like he starts taking photos of the audience whilst soloing towards the end).

SCP is a top track. TA's tribute to the last side of the Abbey Road LP. Although I have to say that SIYS is the top cut on the record.

The Whirlwind is a great record too. Love it now just as much as I did back when it was released. Saw them live in Manchester on the Whirldtour and the show was superb. You can hear it on the 'More Is Never Enough' release.  :D

My personal favorite has to be duel with the devil, such a beastly song!...followed by On the Prowl..Very catchy tune, especially while walking!

Yeah!  Well, I will confess to having blasted Assault Attack and the first MSG LP a fair bit these last few months.  But did have a listen to both The Whirlwind and BAF on my last long road trip too.

Everything is, basically, brilliant.
