NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Surely too much of a who-can-piss-highest risk!)
I was a victim of goose-flirting the other day.
This bleeding great goose came up to me and wanted a light.
I said no.
Goose, there\'ll be no flirting today.

I can't tell, I would give the game away...
You talk
You think you own me
You miss the point completely
These things I do they\'re not for you
I\'m sick and I\'m tired
Leave me alone...

I think that the correct technical term  is "willy-waving"...
...and we try to avoid that  ;) because it all shrinks into insignificance when compared to actually making the music in the first place.

1 x Pair of Eltax squeakers, cost about 80 quid 5 years ago - the most I've ever spent on hi-fi gear, and a Technics amp, which cost the princely sum of bugger-all, due to me having a "contact" in the local dump, who has an amazing knack of snagging some amazing gear from clueless folks who chuck perfectly working stuff out, just 'cos they want the next best thing. In short, it makes lots and lots of noise, and cost less than a couple of nights-out.

...oh, and the actual source of music is my Jukebox PC, almost overflowing with mp3s.

I once got a Tenor Sax from the dump. Three different people just stopped what they were doing and raced after it - we couldn't believe what we'd seen until it was finally thrown onto scrap metal. I got there first!

One day I'll have saved up enough to get the dents taken out...

No "high pissing willy's intended" on my part .
I was simply curious as to what type of audio systems most Frosties are using.  I just happen to be an audiphile geek.

It's the music that matters

So how much did you tell your other half you paid for it? And how much did it really cost?

I say to her, "combined it is far less than golfing or boating, skiing etc....", and she also doesn't think it cost more than her wedding ring......heeeheeeheee!

Everybody has a hobby

And you can run all that off 115V, I'm impressed!! I bet the lights dim when you switch it on   :D

I'm guessing it's solid state? I would love to make myself a valve (tube) poweramp but as always its finding the time.

Yes the lights do dim when I turn it on actually..  ;)

Class A Integrated amp but has the warmth of a tube amp.  Most likely due to the separate mono amp construction I suppose.  It's a fun hobby, one that requires time and peace and quiet.  Being the father of two kids under the age of 4, something that is at a  premium.....
