Noooo Frosties* forum, don't die.... :(

I only left because I got obsessed with Dream Theater all over again, I didn't mean it.

Don't feel bad, its a life long battle.

But honestly, why can't we all get along. This forum, old and new, had been one of my favorite places to come because of all the strangely quirky people that lurk these pages   I mean even with more serious topics we all had a sense of knowing what was to much and how far to go, or the right thing to derail the thread all together. And now having people leave just because the old forum is open...... well is just sad. There have been quite a few things on the new one that have been driven by shear frustration not at Frost* but CRS, and yes that might have caused problems. But that still doesn't mean we all can't get along. Hell its starting to feel more like other forums, and well I like it when its the unique place that everyone raves about biscuits, tea, and wine, and if there was something about Frost* thrown in there well that's fine as well. I like this place, and I'm glad to see its all starting to even out. So come on back Mikey and Rick, and see that we all are just one big dysfunctional community!

Frost* for 2012!!!!   ;)

shall we draw a line under it now?

Besides, Mikey's gotta come back or I'll surpass him in posts! ;)

Indeed you did. (thanks for all the other messages as well)

Got a bit of a shock to see 7 pages on 'Mikey was right'.

Whilst I would admit there were a few things that were beginning to piss me off, my reasons for going were nothing to do with anything posted here, or anywhere else.
The last few months have not been good and I thought I needed to change a few things around.
John Young is the reason for coming back. Disappointed not to see any Frost* shirts in Sheffield on Sunday night, more later.......I have some catching up to do

Glad to see you here once again, Sir.  Sorry to hear of your difficulties.  I do hope things turn around for you quickly.

Not necessarily true! There was an eerie silence for a while....I didn't like it! :(

But never mind that!

Did you know The Oberaletsch Glacier (German: Oberaletschgletscher, meaning Upper Aletsch Glacier) is a valley glacier on the south side of the Bernese Alps, in the canton of Valais. It has a length of 9 km with an average width of just under 1 km and an area of about 22 km².

The Oberaletsch Glacier system consists of two approximately equal arms. The eastern one takes its starting point on the south western flank of the Aletschhorn at around 3700 m, and joins the western arm (Beichgletscher) in the valley at the foot of the Nesthorn. Then the glacier flows to the south-east towards the Aletsch Glacier without reaching it. The glacier tongue ends at around 2150 m. During the Little Ice Age in the middle of the 19th century the glacier was part of the Aletsch Glacier.

Ahhh, that's better :)

It was a tough blow to the forum, actually, and I think we're still recovering from the effects of it.  I, for one, sure hated to lose a frequent contributor and long time crew member of the good ship Frost*.  And then the very talented Rick followed, whose Other Me remix ranks highly among my unofficial Frost* tracks.  I feared the Hadron collider was starting to swallow the Frost*ieverse.

There is an incredibly high number of good people here.  Unlike any other forum out there.  We share a love of Jem's work and appreciate his unprecedented interaction.  Seeing someone leave this place is a bitter pill for me.

But never mind that.  How about that glacier?!?!?!  WTFOMFGBBQ
