What are people making of the new album?  It is definitely Killers but nothing is grabbing me at the moment.

I love the single (which is just as well since it's EVERYWHERE!), only heard the rest once but it seemed pretty good to me.

Mind you, I hated Sam's Town for about the first year it was out, until I saw its brilliance once day.

You're probably right.  Sam's Town was a grower.  Shame they aren't so good live, but then I have only seen them at a festival, think a small venue would be great.

Oooh a rich tea.  Boring biscuit that is.  Does anybody really like them?

Well I think the new album is more The Killers than SAMS TOWN which I hate with a vengance. I absolutely love HOT FUSS which I think is pretty ace. all in all DAY & AGE is a much better affair in line with what they should have done after HOT FUSS than the pile of poo that is SAMS TOWN - I blame bloody Bruce Springsteen for that!

Many, many 80s influences on the new Killers. It seems like an album that I would have listened to a lot when I was a bit younger but perhaps less so now. Time will tell.
