This is a question from an amateur so please bear with me  :D

I'm trying to look for a synth that has any sort of 'pre-loaded' sounds/ samples with a 'twinkly star' feel if that makes any kind of sense at all?

Would anyone know of any such thing? If anything like that exists at all? If anyone does would love to hear suggestions (preferably free  :P )

Moved from "Toys" 20/10/2012. It's a better fit in here, your likely to get more replies. jib.

Interesting question...I'm unable to suggest anything here...but perhaps a couple of questions to trade out the requirements...
Do you have a budget?
Can point at a example of the kind of sound (artist, track, YouTube)?

Not really I am open to suggestions even if it may cost, but be even better if its free  ;)

Anything is possible with a free synth. I know Crystal has a lot of twinkly, glassy sounding effects, but the stuff from TAL Audio, like the U No 62 and NoiZemaker synths would be capable, as long as you know how to program your own patches.

Examples would be great. But look into FM synthesis, there should be some free ones out there I think.
