Can't really say much more than what's already been said.

Sad news that DR and Dec are parting ways, but will be good to see what everyone comes out with afterwards.

I'm going to buck the trend here, and say that I don't think it's all that sad.

Sure, Dec was brilliant with DW, but look at it this way: DW will continue with another singist (well, they bloody better had do); Dec is giong to do something else interesting.
So we get twice as much fab new music!

Am I wrong?

You're not wrong....but as I see it, you aren't really bucking the trend are you? Most comments seem to be along those lines (acknowledging that more from DR with Dec would have been nice but excited for both futures?).  :)

It was good to hear that Dec was one of the nominees for "Best Male Vocalist" last night!

I've only just heard that Dec left Darwin's Radio.

It just goes to show you that I don't get on here even half as much as I'd like.

Good luck and best wishes to DR and hope they continue writing and recording great music.

I also know that Dec, Tim and Steve Kightley have joined forces again for the first time since their break up of The Spirit Of Rush as I've been PM'd by Steve.  We were pretty good friends when he was in TSOR so I'm really pleased that they are making music together again (albeit no Rush though).

Can't wait to hear more of the new Destroy All Monsters project.

PelicanMan

...........and there's some other friends putting in an appearance too.

But DAM is going out as Dec's solo record, (he's quite literally poured his heart & soul into this one - I've seen it with my own eyes and you can hear it in the music) so I'll leave it to him to spill those kinda beans!

I have to say though, it's good to be working with Dec & Tim again, and we have the support of some good friends. We're all committed to the band and intend to gig the album as extensively as we can, so here's to seeing you on the road!!  :D
