Quote from: "Castalike"Hey, I am a post graduate with a Film degree, specializing in cinematography and editing. I have a HDCAM which I could shoot on and the resources (where i live and at work) to edit it together nicely. I am not so experienced with sound production, however I do have decent sound capturing equipment. I can not wait to go to the gig, got my tickets pretty much the day they came out but don't mind recording some of it for the greater good and for the awesome fan base!

I'm a Film graduate too! Or to be precise (Film and Television Production) graduate! Same difference... small world!   :)

Ann nice! Where did you study?

I studied at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, and yourself?

owen

What? I used to live in Southport and now in Wigan. Well known fact: no one studies in Ormskirk

Hahaha! very, very true! I can vouch for that  :D wow you don't live very far away from myself then!

Castalike

Nice, I studied in the dire hole of Newport. Great course, just a terrible place to live hahah.

Haha I think mine was the other way around, learned some good stuff but was more 'find your own damn work!'. Ormskirk was a lovely place though! Great community!

I can vouch that the UK has nicer places than Newport!  Re bootleg, a dvd would be fine and dandy, but I'd much rather a soundboard feed for audio.  I still play albums I bought as a teenager, but I doubt if I've watched even my favourite gigs on film more than half a dozen times.  Of course, we could do the "special ultimate fan book edition", with dvd, bluray, double live cd, all the fan phptos from the night, and the extra special, special limited run, with a certified drop of sweat, from Jem or John.....

Actually, this is extra relevant to me this year, as I'm currently mending from a large operation, and still have problems standing, walking, and sitting.  It's been a bad year for it to happen, cause I've already missed Ian Hunter, Dweezil Zappa and Steve Vai; and with the delight of Frostbite night, too, unattended, a boot cd would indeed be a Christmas present of wonder.

Castalike

Well we have more of a reason now then we did before! At least for a song in which we should decide on!

I suppose the only problem we have is we don't know which songs are going to be played, considering we're supposed to be witnessing 2 maybe more new songs

D S

Well, we know Milliontown is being played so how about that snappy little song for starters?  ;)
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Sei

Hello everyone.

@ Castalike & DavSel :
Will you be there on december's show?
Would you like to film the gig, if Frost* members are ok with that ?

Castalike

I'm cool with the idea, will need permissions and not entirely sure the best option for sound recording, but I don't mind bringing my filming gear!!

And yeah will definitely be going December.   :D

I'm at the show, my problem is the camera I have probably wouldn't be able to film the whole show without; a) battery death, b) no memory left

I think deciding on the one song with everyone filming that one would be pretty awesome, maybe if this is the last show to feature Milliontown maybe worth concentrating on that? Food for thought of course. See what other peeps think first  :)

I'm going to be way too excited to hold a camera for hours and hours. Secondly I probably won't be awake, as I have to play a gig the night before and then leave early to get to London. Yell at me if I doze off during the ballady moments, will you? :D

Shame we probably wouldn't hear Welcome To Nowhere, that might make you jump!  :D
