Now then chaps. Cameron, who some of you may know has been asked to do a drum performance for school. His chosen song Toys. The problem is they won't let him without the drum part as a music score (Not Tab).
I thought of asking Sir Jemfrey or Blunders, but first i thought it best to try the Frosties as i hear there may be some drummists here. ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cameron would have asked himself but he has forgotten his logon. Kids eh!

You could try contacting this chap :-

No idea if he would have a score for it, but he has clearly worked it out in some detail.

Good idea will give it a go.
If I get a chance to talk to Jem or Blunders at the gig I will see what they say. I think I can convert the midi drum track to score in guitar pro 6. The problem being the only midi version of Toys that we have has a lot of errors on the drums.

Well, like many top musicians, Jem does not read music, so he would likely explain that the Toys drum part is a purple triangle, with strings of dodecahedron whiskers, one slightly longer than the other, which, if you think about it, makes complete sense.

Blunders may be able to assist you, but is likely a wee bit busy just now. Perhaps ring up Professor TBE at Kidderminster College. He seems knowledgeable.  ;)

If you have the midi for it, I could theoretically convert it into dots (being one of those rare things - a drummer what reads and even writes music). And being a perfectionist, I'd make damn sure it was 100% right, too!
I say theoretically because I've no idea when I'd have time, especially before Crimble - when does Cam need it by?

You could do it on the train going to/from the gig  :)
I used to have a signature

Not such a bad idea.
If I can get Sibelius to run on my lapdog.

Sib7 runs pretty fine on my i5 Toshiba laptop. I have 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM on it, though. :)

Um? Almost all of them then? :P :D

Ah, memories! :)

I transcribed the toys drums for a cover my friends recorded. I can give you the midi?

Fogeyspasm

That would be brilliant. I will PM you my address.
