Oh, it's a lot easier than that; I live in the Netherlands, so no passport required  I can get the train up to Groningen after work on Thursday and be there in plenty of time for a 23:00 gig, but would then need to get the 05:05 train back to the Hague to be at the hospital with my son by 08:00-ish. If I was 25, this would be simple, catching a couple of hours sleep on the train back, but ...

As for the sea front in Groningen, you are joking, I hope: the sea's more than 15km away ...  8-) http://http://goo.gl/maps/fgJVN

Well, persuading myself I can roll back the years that far for just a 40 minute gig is going to take some doing, but having listened to most of CHVRCHES small, but jewel-like oeuvre today, I'm completely smitten ...
