I'm having an absolute blast recording this. I just got the bass part back today (hence the excitement!), and it sounds incredible.

This section is a 6 finger tapping section, on both bass and guitar and the first half is in 13/8. After that it changes between 6/8 and 4/4/ a few times. REALLY hard to play, but definitely satisfying to hear.

In terms of mixing, all I've done so far is roll off the low end of the guitars and the very high end of the bass, but I won't hide behind the 'oh it's not mixed yet' excuse, because I think it sounds pretty good anyway!

I gave this a listen... from under a towel around a bag of frozen peas cos I hit my head (hard...whoops) and to me it sounds like the top notes of bits from close to the edge... played backwards! :?  So - magnificent!
