It's not such a big surprise when they do it now, but it's still a brilliant way to end the show.

It normally holds the audience's attention in rapt wonder....except for those SLR-equipped ladies who like to play intricate patterns of beeps on their cameras....or noisily click shutters, drop lens caps and blow their noses!

Enjoy!

Lovely, but shame about the background bits - you could have heard a pin drop at The Peel... just the buzzing PA system

True, but they do happen and are largely accidental or arguably unavoidable (shutter beeps can be turned off if you have a care, mechanical shutter noise can only be stopped if you don't take the picture).

I was just a little amused that, for a change, it wasn't noisy blokes at a gig.  :)

Indeed; I have a nice video of Constant Bloom from front row of The Peel with only the buzzing PA, plus some odd background music (?) at the start. Will post onYouTube if I can figure out how ;-)

Maybe the background music was coming from next door   ;)

Sorry for cross-posting, but since I brought this up here too:

Just to follow-up, I've broken my YouTube virginity (ooer, missus) and posted my video of "Constant Bloom" from the end of the fabulous gig last Friday at The Peel:

No bleeping DSLR's, clicking, or nose blowing here, but a somewhat buzzy PA and some weird background music (from the neighbouring strip joint, as suggested by L33VEY?  ;)) at the start, and a slightly tentative start from the band. But it picks up very nicely and provides a nice reminder of a brilliant ggi, albeit without the spot-on, tight-as-a-drum instrumental side of the band which was a marvel to behold. If anyone has a video or even audio of Moonwalk, please let me know!
