No, not the album by Air.
Those Swedish chaps wot can sing rather well.

I'm going to see them on Saturday 14th in Maltby, with a very excited Pygmy Hippo.
They're playing the Peel the day before... who's going? I might try to wangle an extra night in London if there'll be some Frost*ies about (and the possibility of curry)....

Me and Mrs P will be at Maltby. :)

I'm aiming to be in London for the gig at The Peel, as I have a fortunately timely commitment at UCL earlier in the day to talk to the press about comets and our Rosetta mission which will be rendezvousing with and landing on one next year. As you do.

Be good to see you there, RH, if you can make it, and any other Frost*ies. Curry, of course  ;)

If anyone needs persuading, I saw Moon Safari play at De Boerderij last year and most excellent they were.

I shall be able to introduce you to a rarely-seen Frost*ie :)

I shall see if I can wangle an extra day's accommodation at the company's expense. I rate my chances at 50% currently... I'll work on our PA a bit :)
After all, a gig isn't the same without bumping into you on a random street:
"Mr Hippo!"
"Mr Artist!"

I've long since realised that that those are anything other than random occurences, Mr Hippo  8)

Oh, they most certainly did, James: no ostrich head-in-the-sand, please  ;)

Anyway, on that very topic: before or after? I'd be up for after, if there's somewhere local that'll be open still.

Brom

I'm considering this one too especially as it's a Friday as I'm half way there, so to speak. I wonder if the other Frostie that now works with us is interested?
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333

We had an excellent curry in Monty's last year.
It's very handy for Kingston station, too.
Unfortunately, that means it's about a mile away from The Peel (or a 15 minute bus ride).
Still, I'd be up for going there if it's not too late.   Unless someone knows a curry house near The Peel that'll still be open. And has staff who can add up.

I'll probably have a car, namely my brother's, as I'll be staying overnight at his place out in sunny Ashford (of the Surrey variety). So for four of us at least (it's not a big car), we'll be fine ...  ;)

Actually, I think I had a nice dinner there with Catherine during Celebr8.2, so it's a good choice by me. "Only" open until midnight though; will need to trot along quite sharpish after the Moonies are done.

(I'm not quite sure we should blame the curry house staff for their maths, by the way; methinks 'twas the Frost*ies that were challenged in this regard ...  ;))
