Yes the remix was meant to be released with the original cd , however i never received either the cd or the remix version, i also had the same thing happen when i pledged for the new renaissance cd, they were supposed to release a dvd as a bonus never got that either despite makeing enquiries with both bands, i dont think i will be pledging any more.

Oh that's not good,  the only thing I've pledged for in the past was a Spock's Beard CD and I had my CD and t-shirt no problem.  I've recently pledged for Devin Townsend's Casualties of Cool project and I don't envisage any problems as Devin's always been really cool towards his fans

I've pledged on 25 projects (and counting) from both UK & abroad and thus far have had very few problems. Some postal delays from the US on one of them, but everyone I've contacted has been helpful  and sorted out any issues.
Sometimes it is down to the artists/managment involved, and as many of you will be aware from the It Bites 'Tall Ships' project, sometimes things are taken out of the bands hands as they negotiate distribution deals for their products (there was a bit of fuss when the Inside Out version had an extra track, and the Japanese version had two IIRC)
