No problem mate, good to see you.

Yes I was wearing a Frost* hoodie and t-shirt  :)

Hope you enjoyed your brief visit to Cardiff and had a safe trip home  :)

Indeed: very enjoyable, and a bottle of Penderyn Welsh whisky in my possession thanks to the organisers  :)

Nice, I've passed the Penderyn distillery many times but never been there even though it's only 16 miles from my house  :)

Here's a small jewel for you, my lovely Frost*ie friends:

A realtime movie version of the last minute of Philae's slow, hypnotic descent onto Comet 67P/C-G last November.

Made by beautiful interpolation VFX work by Jakub Knapik at Platige Image, the makers of our sci-fi mini-epic, "Ambition", with musical accompaniment in the form of the instrumental version of Saline from the EIMA special edition, courtesy of the boss.

Thanks, Jem: you're a star  8)

And Frost* get a mention on the BBC to boot (under the Science pages: whodathunkit? ;)):

AND! AND!
A subtle nod in this morning's tweet  8)

We aim to please  ;)

Was my idea to make this movie and I tried myself, but did a hopeless job. Our Platige Image movie makers just aced it, and then it was entirely clear that it needed a soundtrack, to emphasise the sheer wonder of being on-board a spacecraft as it slowly drifted down onto the surface of a comet.

As you do.

Hope you liked the choice of music: Snowman has been reserved for another day  8)

And thanks again to Jem for saying "yes".

Thank you, thank you: I take it as a major career highlight to get Saline playing on the BBC's website, on the science pages no less  8)
