He has some clinic drummer Blundering through most of the album, too.
I'm rather looking forward to it :)

Ouch!  :o  Mind you, the new Pendragon album is £27 on Amazon...
Hopefully Nellie will have it available on the Merch Desk at a more reasonable price whilst also putting more dosh directly into JM's pocket.  8)

Bach to Me is the brainchild of drummer and composer Georg Voros. A life-long fan of Progressive and Symphonic Rock, Georg's debut album is an unusual offering in that it features reworks of some of the celebrated classical master J.S. Bach's greatest music, including an original drum and keyboard orientated composition.
Georg's renowned drumming skills are a feature on Bach to Me, with the addition of some very special guest musicians with associations to artists such as It Bites, Kate Bush, Camel, Solstice, Dave Matthews and Alan Parsons.
If the prospect of Classic Prog Rock with a modernistic approach excites you, then this album is for you with clear references to bands like Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes and Focus.

Wow. Proggy Bach. This sounds interesting. Might have to give that a go. Also, this maybe off topic, although I'm not quite sure what the topic is now so who can say? But has anyone bought the Kant Freud Kafka album? I think this is my new favourite thing at the moment. Instrumental stuff, but no worse for that. :) It's some Spannish chappy I believe. Its like Debussy and Bartok with Classic Genesis and Yes elements chucked in there too. I hate to make the Genesis and Yes comparison because just about every prog album you ever buy is said to sound like Genesis and Yes, although ironically not so much in the case of the last few Genesis and Yes albums. Lol. But I digress. Kant's album is a thing of beauty with great atmospheric music, with excellently played wood wind and strings, Keys, Guitars, Drums etc. It's a bit like a Spannish Big Big Train but without the vox. I'd highly recommend. Oh and back to what you were all saying, can't wait for JM's album. Got a great feeling about this one. :)

Ah, well in that case, I'm just getting ready to sit down and relax and listen to Live from Progzilla Towers weekly prog show.
http://www.progzilla.com/
Show starts at 8 PM uk time, in about 40 minutes. I always try and listen anyway, but tonight Cliff is playing a track by a certain TMT. A privilage for me indeed. :)

Just listening to Million town, and reflecting that as there's not much going on with Frost at the moment, we don't actually talk much about them on here. This seemed as good a thread to mention this on as any. All it is is, there's a bit on Million Town (the song) that actually makes me danp  around the eyes every time I hear it. THe bit where Gem sings, "It was not your place to choose, and now I lose, I lose.". Not sure if its his voice, or the drums kicking back in, or because I've read the apprentice and its such a depressing book, but that line gets me every time. Its one of those high points of prog for me. Like in Family snap shot whent Gabriel sings, "Holding my breath, release the catch, and I let the bullet fly". And strangely on Many too many, on the second chorus when Phil sings "I thought that I'd got it made, how could I be so blind". Oo, I'm all of a quiver. Its been a long day. Just thought I'd share.
