Hey guys,

Heard of a song with that title on a podcast from a few years back,
I tried to find it and have had no luck, however i ended up finding this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kff3fNfvZt4

What is this from? Are there any more gems that I'm likely missing out on?

Drarok

I've got a whole host of goodies on my site. Man with the 2.4: http://www.drarok.com/frost/files/Toys/the_man_with_the_2_4.mp3

General goodies: http://www.drarok.com/frost/

That track rings a bell, but I can't see any titles for some reason? It was definitely available at some point, so maybe it's in my collection already. :)

Edit: oh, it's in the same directory as the other toys, Music in the Typewriting Room. http://www.drarok.com/frost/files/Toys/01%20-%20Music%20in%20the%20Typewriting%20Room.mp3

Wow, thanks a lot man. Wasn't expecting what I wanted from the very first response.

What is this song from? a one of track that was put online, or an EP that I missed?

Drarok

Given they're in my Toys folder, I probably downloaded them from the old website - there was a little section named "Toys" that had little tracks like these in.

I'm not sure what to classify them as, really. Some are precursors to sections of Milliontown (Saltaire, for example), other ones are seemingly just little one-offs.

Have a nose around, there's some good stuff!

Ok I've got a few questions,

What is Clouda? and what is Eponymous?

Other than that, thanks for sharing it all :D

gr8gonzo

"Clouda" was to be the title of a Jem Godfrey album. The project was essentially scrapped, however one of the tracks, "Lights Out," is said to be on the upcoming Frost* album.

Eponymous was once a very active member of this forum, but has kept a low profile in recent years. He still lurks via RSS and makes cameo appearances when the mood strikes. The two tracks in the Eponymous folder are brilliantly fun mixes he made back in the day.
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Drarok

Oh, that's a shame. I didn't know Clouda was shelved, but then I fell off the plot wagon some time back.

iamrich

Thanks guys!
That Deep Oceans remix is awesome, everything Jem touches turns to gold

Ah, I remember well the day I first heard that track. About 18 months ago I think it was. I nearly died. Lol. I asked for help here too and was directed to the wonderful archive of Drarock. It is indeed a wonderful place. :)

gr8gonzo

Chin up, Drarok. Jem's musical output is a bit like curry. You just know it's all going to come out in the end.

Bassooooooooooooooon

That my friend, is a fackin Michael Cane. Terrible. Lol

Shame indeed... Lights Out was a great track (IMO).

Lights Out is listed on the track list posted for the new album currently in production see http://britishwintertime.com/2015/09/10/10th-september/

Ivor

Yep, I just meant it as a barometer of how good the Clouda project could've been, although as with Light Out, we may eventually hear parts of what it was, in slightly different clothes. :)
