So this week I've photographed two gigs at The Marble Factory in Bristol.

Tuesday was Blues Pills:

Being the first of the 3 bands they didn't get very good lighting, so I didn't shoot many photos you can see those I did take HERE

Thanks Rog, I didn't really know what to expect with Lacuna Coil so had a bit of shock at the makeup the band were wearing.

Just wait till you see my picture of Lordi who I'm shooting next Saturday!!!

Been quite a few years now since last I saw Lacuna Coil, suspect they sound a bit different now too

Might have an issue with Lordi now, as it's a Saturday night gig in Bristol, I was planning on going up and back on the night as hotel prices for the Saturday night were higher than usual.  I found out from a friend this morning that when they played in Swansea last night they didn't take the stage till gone 11pm, 90 minutes after the support band had finished.

The last train I can catch back from Bristol is at 10:55pm I'm hoping that the venue in Bristol has a 11pm curfew (every other gig I've done there has) forcing them to go on earlier.

Thanks Mordwin,  I'm not overly familiar with their music.  I only have one of their albums (Shallow Life) and this was the first time I'd seen them live.  If I'm honest I only stayed till the end to chat with Forever Still.

Next gig for me now is Thursday, Delain and Evergrey at The Tramshed in Cardiff.  Really looking forward to this as Evergrey are one of my favourite bands.
