...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

...That I'm going to see one of the least proggy bands in history in september- west country favourites the Wurzels!

...or was it Kraftwerk after they sold their synths?
Broadband! A whole 2.5MB of it!

RacingHippo

If they were to use a keyboard, it'd have to be a Wurzlitzer.

Well, let's face it, they're prolly going to be way to drunk on scrumpy to even figure out what those little black and white things on a keyboard are actually for!

...wait a sec- one of them plays accordian!

... that finally my copy of TPE arrived yesterday @ home.
I'll spend the rest of the evening listening the cd and watching the dvd :D

Thanks Nellie for this great gift!!
Just FROST*

That I've spent the whole morning looking forward to a bacon roll from the canteen. I only get one on Thursday cos I go to the gym later and don't have a big dinner (logic there somewhere). Said roll is now consumed, almost invisibly and with none of the anticipated enjoyment as I was totally embroiled in the goings on in the Forum!

This is not a complaint!  :D
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333

Quote from: "Trapezium Artist"... that we're nearing the end of our enjoyable three week California odyssey down the coast and back up the Eastern Sierra; only Yosemite and then back to San Francisco by the weekend, before flying home.

But on having lunch at the excellent but most weirdly located deli today (in a petrol station just outside very small town of Lee Vining), I had cause to think of my fellow Frost*ies, or at least one of them ...  :D

Argh; I should have thought of that at the time and bought you one. Problem is, I haven't a clue as to your size, ma'am  ;)

El_Mayonnaise

...That I'm off to Amsterdam with the girlfriend in 6 hours! I'll be wheeling the good ship blighty and giving them clog hoppers what for!

But really if there are any spectacular places that any of the forum inhabitants have visited, let them be known! I'll be checking the forum again at about 1 so plenty of time!

...that (for those that missed my copious tweets yesterday) my fabulous wife graduated yesterday with a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management, and thus is now more highly qualified than me. Which is fair enough as I've been the highest qualified of the two of us for the last 22 years. Her turn now. So long as she starts earning more than me as well...

...and that I'm posting this from an iFad that she has borrowed from work, and find the inability to place the cursor in the middle of a word combined with the lack of cursor keys to be VERY FRUSTRATING. Ditto the absence of a caps lock feature.
Oh, and it doesn't render the forum background correctly.

Jolly well done to Mrs H!

So, unlike the iPhone/iPodTouch, if you hold your finger on the screen over the text you don't get fine cursor control? That's unexpected.
So, erm, can you suggest an alternative device by any chance?  ;)

Erm. Maybe I should RTFM.
Now, what's the equivalent of ctrl+z for when I delete more text than I wanted to like what I dun just now...?

Hah. Can't be arsed to faff about removing that rogue S.
And the smart arse thing just corrected "arced" to "arced". Argh! It did it again! Don't assume I can't spell, you arcehole!

right.
The market has only just been created (thank you for that, Mr Jobs), so there's only a handful of devices from the likes of Archos and Huawei. But LG, HP, Toshiba, Asus are all beavering away building various sizes of tablet running Android - for operating systems it's that or WinMo7, so not much of a decision really!
By Xmas there'll be quite a lot of choice.

I hope it doesn't make a habit out of changing 'S' to 'C'. Might make typing the name of the Caravan album Cunning Stunts a bit, er, dangerous.
