Quote from: "Bad shepherds website"STOP PRESS - RESCUED TOUR DATES!

It's been a weird couple of weeks. Three days before our tour was due to begin our promoter/manager suddenly stopped answering his phone and sent an email saying he was 'withdrawing from the project'...
Anyway, he's no longer part of the set up, as you can probably imagine, but it was difficult for us to take over the tour the way it was set up.

We're really sorry for the inconvenience we've put you through if you'd bought a ticket.
And not a little pissed off ourselves for the gigs we've missed.
Though we did manage to rescue the two Pocklington Arts Centre gigs which went down a storm.

HOWEVER – we are in the process of rescuing some more gigs. And adding some others.

Website is up & running again, with re-scheduled dates

Yes, and I see they're still shunning East Anglia. Not enough sheep here, I suppose.

Holmfirth? Blimey, only about 3 or 4 miles away from me (I'm in Linthwaite). And looking at the Picturedrome's website, Asia are playing there next year! In Holmfirth!!!

How are the mighty fall'n! ;)

Mind you, the Picturedrome is a fab place to see a film. A wonderful antidote to the soulless multiplex experience.

Cheers

David

2 Humour with a touch of music?
    3 Neither of the above
Whatever, it is was very enjoyable, an excellent night.
BS opened with 'I fought the law' - Clash, as I doubt you've never heard it before.
Its a folk take on punk/new wave.
Line-up was from L-R, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin/Vocals, Pipes(Various) & Bodrum(ran)(ron)
Nuff said, I think. Can only leave that to your imagination. Let it run wild.

Sounds like the Picture House in Hebden Bridge, where you can buy a mug of hot chocolate to sup while you're sitting on your wooden fold-out chair watching the somewhat stained screen.
They sometimes do a pie & pea supper at the interval.

And a couple of years ago, after 2 false starts with the sound sounding awful, there was a lot of waiting, followed by me traipsing up to the projection room, offering my services and proceeding to rewire the sound system for them. I still have a load of free tickets left from that :)
It's a grand place.
