Well I'm leaving the big camera at home but the advantage of taking the compact is it has a video function

Just watch out for Kris Hudson-Lee....the CRS anti-video police. He scans the crowd enforcing their very clear policy. I think that it is OK with permission but they like permission to be established in advance rather than leaving it until Kris has you in a head-lock! :shock:

Am I confusing him with another Kris (Chris) Hudson, who got up and did a song with The Reasoning at CRS gig last year, of which I have two cameras worth of video footage and lets just say he didn't look the enforcer type

Yes, there are two similarly named chaps. I too saw the "curly-C" Chris with The Reasoning. "Kicking-K" Kris plays bass with Manning and does look slightly more the enforcer type....

Not only will I be there, and with my 15-year-old son, but it will be

a) my first CRS gig
b) my first Frost gig
c) my first rock gig of any description in years

So me and our kid its a big night.

It'll be their first experience of Frost* live, but both of 'em are fans of Milliontown. I don't think they've heard EIMA yet so that should wake 'em up with a bang. It'l be like being slapped around the ears with a baseball bat that's been soaked in a barrel o' prog.
