The man certainly can play.....I can't say I am familiar with his work, but he has chops! Hopefully he brings a bit of the ROCK side with him as well and knows how to sit in the pocket.

I was thinking (I know it don't happen often) with 2 drummers the rhythm section is going to be a bit "drum heavy" and you really need another bassist to counter this imbalance. Now it just so happens that I'm a bassist, I'm available and I'm free. (bloody shit bassist but FREE!!)

What d'ya say?

After watching the first clip that was my thought. Then I saw the second one.......No worries is what I say. He can RAWK with the best. And he does subtle very well does the boy Alex. All bases covered.

Goodness me, I thought for a minute that that bass player was my husband 15 years ago! He has 6 funky strings and everything.

Here's to hoping Jem takes the exact opposite tactic on the next Frost* album and uses all three of these drummers, completely removes any cymbal or snare work, and turns the third release into an entirely tribal-drummed extravaganza. You know you are tempted, Jemmy boy...
