I'm not sure how I missed these guys.  I tracked through their new album, "Mantis," this morning, which impressed me enough to scour YouTube for more.  I was mesmerized by "Bridgeless," then "Syncopated Strangers" and then surprised by the heavier "Wizard Burial Ground" (oh, well... I guess Frost* 3 will need a new title!).  There's a whole lot of two-guitar work and extended jamming going on.  When vocals do appear, they remind me of Giraffe-era Kevin Gilbert.

Anyone familiar with UM?

Meine Musikliste

Geetar

I've been quite liking them for a while; mainly since Phish did a bunk, and left a musical corner unfilled.

Diffidentia

Ah, I'ce got some catching up to do. Haven't heard anything besides Anchor Drops, which is a favourite, so I better try the new stuff soon :)

Mantis is absolutely superb. Absolutely.
