Haha! That's brilliant!
The drums perfectly convey the "wheel's come off" moments that Jem delivered so well in the video.

Love the harmonies and the ping-pong game that appears to break out towards the end!
This song really should be included in a live set one day....next Christmas maybe, complete with drop-down sin-along lyrics banner....how about it Jem?

Thanks Pedro, it was really fun to do it. Not very intellectual music making, but at sometimes i laughed my pants off making it.
What makes it funny is that the video is funny for starters. I just added some instruments.

It took some time though to get Jem to play a straight bar and the ping pong effect just came to me after the first cowbell session. Mooooh!

A few years back, our band were doing a song that I decided absolutely HAD to have vibraslap in it.
But as it's a 2-handed thing, I'd have to put both drumsticks down, pick it up, slap it, then pick my sticks up again and carry on drumming. Not so good.

So I:
* Bought a secondhand, faulty Alesis D4
* Found out it worked well enough not to be threatened with a soldering iron
* Built a set of trigger-pads
* Wired it all up
* Slapped happily!

Here's the "pads" before I mounted some rubber on them:
