Noise control petition

Dear all,
A while ago we were encouraged to sign a petition to stop legislation about noise control at entertainment venues. I've just had this response from No. 10 Downing Street:

Seems it isn't the government that's the problem, but local authorities. Still, good news that no such law is being considered.
