This might be a long shot, but I know that there are some Fantom X owners around. I just got one myself and tonight I imported some samples from my hard disk library. There was about 20 samples of about 380 kb each. However, in the sample list of the fantom X, they are about double the size and hence will not fit the memory (have not got a card yet). Anybody know why this happens? Something I did or just a difference in how my computer and the Fantom reads .wav files?

(Could it have anything to do with the samples being a Mellotron?? ;) )
I know for I told me so!

Have you got the H0-B1T board installed? ;-)
I was a victim of goose-flirting the other day.
This bleeding great goose came up to me and wanted a light.
I said no.
Goose, there\'ll be no flirting today.

Have you tried the Roland Clan Forums? It's a non Roland owned forum and resource run by a very helpful guy called Artemiy. It's saved my bacon a couple of times over the years.

Actually I haven´t but certainly will. I was on the Roland Fantomized forum but it was rather busy and the search engine was no good. Thanks a lot for the advice.

No but I´ve just managed to convert my USB coffe-cup warmer to be compatible with the Fantom-series. Only problem is I get coffee stains on the pads when I try to play Jems solo-parts. I´ll have to stop drinking coffee or start playing Yanni instead. ;)

I know a few of the folks from planet roland and they seem to actually keep quite a close tab on there, a lot of them posting responses to technical questions.

But overall I hate that place. The colour scheme of all very similar blue's makes my eyes hurt.
