I am at work, so I have priorities.

Tickets now ordered for Leeds and Southampton

Valhall

Quote from: "Brom"Southampton tickets procured!!  :D  :D

Same here. Excitement level currently reaching untold heights.
...Whatever.

DannySoisSage

Two tickets to each bought  :D

I can't miss this for ANYTHING!

The Cosmic Lawnmower

Southampton tickets successfully purchased from the helpful man at the box office.  8-)

For info it appears that the stalls will be standing... all the Frost*ies to the front please!
(Seating up in the tiered seats at the back.)

This is probably a good move, I saw Queensryche there last summer and the stalls were all seated, the problem being a bunch of people in the front few rows failed to get the hint that seats mean you sit down and stood through the whole thing which buggered things up somewhat for those behind. Luckily we were on an aisle seat so were not particularly affected.
So anyway standing is cool with me.

WHOO_HOOO!  :D

Brom

As the Brom party will be of mixed ages and mixed "enthusiasm" - Mrs. B likes some of DTs stuff, but I can't really see her moshing!, then again I may be surprised. Anyway we will be giving our support from the balcony.
I am out of the office. Messages can be left with Mr. C Lyons on 020 7722 3333

2 Southampton standing tickets ordered - Miss DS (Snr) gets to see her first Frost* gig!

See you down the front!   :D  :D
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Trapezium Artist

Two standing purchased for Southampton. Although I've no idea if I can actually make it yet, I have no desire to be left in the lurch by procrastination as I nearly was for the Peel (thanks again, Twang  :D )

I'm embarrassed to admit that I bought mine via TicketBastard simply because I couldn't be bothered to work out the O2 mobile thingy, but I'll live, I suppose.

One question I have for people who know the Guildhall (CL?): my tickets are for the standing area, although I realise that there may be stalls. Row number is GA1 and the tickets 85-86; however, I suspect that means General Access and the 85th and 86th tickets sold, since there are no seats 85-86 in the seating plan. True? Will it be a general rush to the front and otherwise stand wherever you like ... ?

If true, then I also suspect that Frosties* have bought more than half the tickets sold thus far ... long may it continue  :D

L33VEY

One more down the front in Southampton.... :D  :D
Currently playing in The Frost*mobile:  Frost* Day and Age

Valhall

I'm standing too. Sitting down through a whole show is definitely not for me, I need to express my enthusiasm with erratic hair movements  :D
...Whatever.

Yeah, you pretty much got it, a general rush for the front!  :)

I expect it to look a bit like the end of Pedder's Toys vid, with all the Frost*ies lined up!  :)

Yup, in terms of standing it's just an expanse for all us obsessed Frosties* to get right involved in :) It's a pretty good venue actually! There's a lovely little pub across the road as well we could all go to afterwards that's open late :)

Cynthia's Mallet

I propose a Frost*ie mexican wave for Southampton!  Hey, we'll all look like we're in Pedro's video swaying about in our Frost* tops at the front of the stage  :) (I was writing this whilst Cosmic was writing his - we have two computers - spooky!)

If you'd rather call for tickets at Southampton Guildhall here's the box office number: 02380 632601

I think the last standing gig I went to there was Alice Cooper last July and it was roasting, you can sit on the carpeted floor whilst you're waiting for the band though.  The balcony seating is ok, as is tiered, it's obviously a way back from the stage but you should catch everything.  For anyone travelling by train just hop off at Southampton Central Station and it's literally a short walk across the road to the Guildy.  We'll be coming straight from the IOW Festival so see you there - I must say, I'm bloody excited already!

Sounds good to me ... both the Free Frostie* Bopping Zone down the front (I recall the Summer's End gig where we managed to get the floor a-bouncing collectively  :D ), plus the pub too. That said, if I do make it, I'll be facing a 2.5 hour drive home afterwards, so it'll be a St Clement's for me ...  :(

I'm in the "keen to hear DT too" camp though; never have live, although methinks it'd be too much to ask for a full performance of Metropolis Pt. 2, eh?  ;)

I used to be a huge DT fan but the last few albums have left me a bit cold unfortunately.  They're normally good value live though.

Interestingly, they do have a reputation for supporting up and coming bands and boosting them onto the next level.  First time I saw DT, the support band was Spock's Beard.  On the next tour, support was Porcupine Tree.  I rest my case!  Jem, you'd better get ready to shift a shed-load (Cube-load?) of CDs and t-shirts!
Come on, you\'re a lion!
