I'd have loved to have got to one, but it just wasn't feasible financially or logistically.
Shame as it's one of the few gigs that my wife and I would both enjoy...

Just recovering from travelling back overnight from London after seeing the Dan's sold out show at Hammersmith last night  Just recovering from travelling back overnight from London after seeing the Dan's sold out show at Hammersmith last night

Great show, Don and Walt seemed quite fired up and played with gusto, Walt laying down some stinging guitar lines. We were treated to a wide selection of songs from their, as Donald put "superfine career".
As ever a great backing band with some old hands from previous tour in particular I must mention the excellent Keith Carlock on drums.
The icing on the cake though was for the encore they brought on no less than Elliot Randall (who apparently lives in London these days) to play the original 1972 arrangement of 'Reelin' in the Years', OMG! Awesometastic!! It even incited some guy to jump on stage and go nuts, security chased him all round the back of the drum kit before they caught him!

A hot and sticky, but great night... I also must say that it was great to meet up with our old mate Bender again and a big thanks for driving us back through the London traffic to Waterloo afterwards.

Keith Carlock is one of my fave drummers, too. One of the tightest, crispiest drummers on the planet. Nay, in the whole Western Spiral Arm.

Glad you enjoyed it :)
