anybody tried a nanoPAD with Logic?  I know that Skyflash has one, but not sure which program he's using it with.  I'd like a little pad controller to do drum parts, and they're cheap!

I do have a nanoPAD but I'm using it with FLStudio on a PC... sorry mate!

no problem!  even so, do you like it?

oi!!

I'm currently using EZ drummer with it. I haven't had a chance to dig into
EXS and Ultrabeat stuff with it yet. Not sure how the mapping lines up.
I should add that I have the full version of EZ drummer and not the lite version
that the nano comes with. I really like how the two work together and
using them within Logic 8.02 is pretty solid.

After watching the videos Jordan Rudess has posted I'm thinking about
getting the NanoKey now too. He makes everything look so much fun!

cool!  at $60 I can hardly lose.

thanks!

The current issue of Sound on Sound reviews all three Nano things.
They like them but point out that the pad repeatedly caused Sonar's audio engine to stop working, even when they were not touching the pad(!?).
No evidence that this would affect other DAWs, though. However they did not appear to entertain the notion that it could be a Sonar bug.

They also didn't like the way changing the settings of the nano things entailed stopping and starting the DAW again (this was Sonar again so maybe others are better?).

That's all I can offer. Look forward to hearing how you get on.

 That's so true!

I'm finding myself quite well with the nanoPAD. I have learned quite fast how the mapping of the drum set is set and I've done some songs with the chromatic scenes (2, 3 and 4) going on with shapes. Very nice!
