And what great ablums they are! I got Milliontown first and was mighty liking it. But EIMA arrived last weekend and my word!!!.........Well it's just too good really. And not what I was expecting either! I got the digi pack with the DVD in which I haven't watched yet. There linear notes are pretty much none existant. Sooooooo......is Declan singing on most of it then because he has an amazing voice. He really has one of the best rock voices I've heard in a long time. He doesn't look like he should have that kind of voice. He does however, look like the tall chap out of the League of Gentlemen. Maybe Frost* should do a cover of Voodoo Lady by Creme Brulee!

Well impressed. Roll on Leeds!!!!!

Don't he just? :)
I believe Dec does all the lead vox, Jem & JM join in with lots of BVs and there's some extra Belinda in EIMA.

Credits and Lyrics can be downloaded from the Toys section up there ^

See you in Leeds!

Actually, Jem does his fair share of lead vox on EIMA.  Unless I'm a Steak-mm, it breaks down like this:

EIMA
Jem - verses
Dec - choruses

Welcome To Nowhere
Jem - verses
JM - verses
Dec - choruses

Pocket Sun
Dec - verses and chorus harmonies
Jem - chorus harmonies

Saline
Dec - verses and choruses
Jem - verse harmonies

Dear Dead Days
Jem - verses
JM - pre-chorus
Dec - chorus

Falling Down
Jem - verses and choruses
Dec - choruses

You/I
Jem

Toys
Dec

Wonderland
Dec

Secret Song (aka Remember Me)
Dec

Apologies if I've left out any vocal bits by JM, JJ and TBE.  Feel free to correct me.
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Pajter

That's a nice breakdown gr8gonzo.

How did you find that out? I have difficulty telling the difference between Jem and Dec, with all the production and effects going into the voices.

JM is easily recognizable though. Maybe that's because I've listened to Kino so many times.

RacingHippo

Gonzo, you're amazing!
Did you work that out with your super-mega-hearing or have you inside info?

Made that all up.  I'm quite certain all EIMA vocals were created by filling Jem's chickens with varying amounts of ginger ale, waiting for them to swell, then squeezing them in rapid succession.  That, and toilet sounds.

Bloody hell, it's good to have you back, Gonz!

Falling Down: Dec does the "Life, it all became to much" and so on parts... so the verses... Jem throws in some bits during the "call and answer" part

Wonderland: Dec only does the "Hero, " etc. parts, and maybe some backing vocals, with Jem doing the rest.

Jem

Pretty close Gonz, and yes, welcome back matey. :D

The verses in Falling Down are Dec actually. The bridges are all of us overlapping. On bridge 1, JM sings "unsatisfied"and I do that line on the other 2 bridges.

Dec takes over halfway through verse 1 on DDD, the "everybody got a.." bit and I flip up to the harmony. He also sings the "Safe and sound, inside you" bit while I do the high harmony. Then I take over for the "everybody got a desperation" bit.

Mouse

I love vocal arrangements, there's so much depth to them!

In fact, all I've learned about singing and harmonies and such comes from listening to songs and picking apart the various little elements. Not a crumb of Music Theory in sight!  8-)

That's all well and good, but what of the chickens?
