ripped a big stinky fart on stage?

Just curious. I was in one particular band that we all seemed to whenever
we were around. Something about chemistry I guess.

That I'm incredibly bored at the minute and couldn't think of anything
else to ask Frost*

Bokkie

And which biscuit causes that?

From experience i can warn everybody: If you ever find yourself for some reason in the north of The Netherlands and they offer you "Knol's" cake. Just keep it at one slice. At one time i ate 4 pieces for lunch and after 2 hours i began to inflate myself. If the authorities had found out they would have arrest me for engaging biological warfare. :)

Do you have a recipe for that, Bokkie?

I don't recall ever gassing my guys out, but I do remember having really bad cramps one night and begging for the set to end.  I was certainly headed for a solo never seen before, but I made it.

And one night my eyes were unusually sensitive to the cigarette smoke and started burning so badly that they turned devil red, tears were trickling down my face and I was in the middle of a dual keyboard part that didn't permit me a half second to grab a towel.  I pressed on, with my eyes 3/4 closed and through the stinging I kept wishing I could stretch my neck and bury my eyes in my shirt sleeve.  It was only about 10 seconds, but it felt like hours.
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

My own personal experience lies around my pre gig reitual, namely the PGP (Pre Gig Poo).
Those can be real 'I'd Give it 15 minutes guys' jobbies too.

That and cramp too - I've done a gig having spent the day doing my FA Football coaching badge and my bass drum leg cramped up during the first song of a 2 hour set!!

I'm afraid i haven't. It's a top-secret recipe from the Knol company. I guess if they told me they would have to kill me. :lol:

I found this on the web:
Groningers are particularly proud of their local speciality: Groninger koek. This bready cake is a type of ontbijtkoek, made with rye and syrup. Variations include Groninger koek with nuts, anise or ginger.

and a recipe i found:
    *  250 gram  self-raising flour
    * 175 gram bastard sugar
    * 3 spoons of syrup
    * Salt to your own taste
    * 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    * ½ teaspoon grind cloves
    * ½ teaspoon grind nutmeg
    * 1 teaspoon speculoos herbs
    * 150 ml milk

Mix the flour,speculoos,salt,nutmeg,cinnamon,cloves and syrup.
Mix it with milk till you get a smooth dough.
Put in a buttered baking-tin half of the sugar and pour the dough into the tin. The other half of the sugar goes on top.
Put it in an oven for 60 minutes at 140 degrees Celsius.

I hope my translation is correct.  I'm still nut sure about the "bastard sugar" though.

The one with the nuts it's my favorite. And when it's still warm, just baked, it's bloody tasty.

Oh dear...i'm graving already.

The Cosmic Lawnmower

I remember playing a gig on a multi-band bill, to keep things simple the promoter arranged to share the vocal mic set-up and foldback, however the guy that sang before me must've had the most nauseating, malodorous, putrid halitosis ever, that somehow managed to permeate the mic, luckily I only had to do an hour and it was an outdoor gig, but my god it was barf inducingly rank, particularly as I have a singing style where I rest right up against the mic, eeww!!  :(
Trouble was I bet whoever went on after me that day thought I was the guy with the stinky breath!! And so on and so on!

Me neither - I don't think they sell it in my local supermarket - although Wiktionary thinks it's light brown sugar, which is readily available.
I'm not sure what the "speculoos herbs" are either...

I have .. there was one incident in which our singer inadvertently wandered into my 'aura' .. I still I remember (fondly) the look on his face as he gasped for air and had to stop singing    :mrgreen:

Not onstage as far as I can recall. In rehearsal however, I'm afraid me and Mitchell are terrible monsters with our poo fumes. People have actually left the room.
