I don't expect any of the Frosties were there but I just wanted to share this pic I found online wich features me right in the middle of the crowd, rocking a Frost* t-shirt.

That friday when I wore the shirt I did get a couple of "Hey Frost! cool shirt man"

mark_kennedy

I was there and I did see someone in a Frost* shirt ;-)

I wasn't there but WAS at the weekend in Holland.... wow, what a terrific weekend. It was my 2nd time coming to the M-weekend thing (thus I have been to both the Dutch editions) and these are such great events:

- a great holiday parc in the Dutch Delta Area with comfortable cottages and excellent other facilities on the park
- a parc filled almost to the max with people with whom you have in common that you really like Marillion
- the Marillion organisation / crew who work their asses of to have the best possible conditions in the big concert tent and on stage and present their show in the best possible way
- a band who is willing to go the extra mile(s) and play 3 nights in a row presenting a completely different setlist every night (that is 6 + hours of music, ladies and gentlemen).

Honestly, I don't know any other band in the world that does all of this.

And apparently, it makes them quite a lot of money... enough to go into hiding for a few months later in the year to write new material.

That's so awesome.  I've been wanting to attend for years.

Hey, Xe - Thanks for representin'!
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Another unfortunate missed opportunity for me. I hope maybe next time they
can do one in the U.S.

Well, unless both work permit regulations, visa regulations and tax regulations ease up Stateside I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. And this is not a problem only limited to Marillion but similar situations have been reported throughout the arts world.

I see you Xe! I wanted to go so badly, I'm definitely going to try to get to the next one.  :)
