Well, the holiday in Spain is over, now just memories but very, very good memories. The weather for the first 3 days was glorious, wall to wall sunshine and in the mid 20's. From Wednesday onwards we had a bit of a mixed bag but on the occasions it did rain it was at least warm :D .
The three main activities of the week were, i) Walking (mostly from bar to bar), ii) Drinking, obviously all that walking required much refreshment, iii) Eating. The food at the hotel was just acceptable, unfortunately you could have as much as you liked. Combine this with the drunkenness and it's perfectly understandable that I came back just slightly heavier than when I went.
I've just been and weighed myself and am rather surprised to see that although my belly looks much bigger and the trousers are a bit tighter I've only put on about 5 pounds, perhaps all that walking stopped me putting any more on.
I have to say a big thank you to San Miguel, Cruzcampo, Estrella Damm and Mahou for the fabulous entertainment provided both from my own consumption and that of others.

Oh well, back to the grind. :(

p.s. I had a beer for ALL of you, at least once. :twisted:

Welcome back to all three of you.  :D

BTW I think you'll really like the new Touchstone stuff! Well worth getting to the Cambridge Rock 'n' Beer Fest if you can (even if it is on a Thursday).

I ordered the CD before we went, Shhhhhhh don't tell Sue, I haven't told her yet ;) . As for Cambridge it is a lot closer to many places we travel to so I'll have to keep an eye on finances and time off work. I really would like to make it.
