Considering that "guest solo" bit in Millontown, perhaps it's as well Jem didn't do a respray in pink instead of white.

PENCILS ... far more reliable.

They've always got wood ... and there's always plenty of lead in them.

During the technological war between the US and Russia, the US spend millions on developing a pen that could write in space. The Russians used pencils. ;)
